| So that you feel completely safe, Internorm windows are fitted with a basic security standard. For more security two additional designs are available in Resistance Class 1 and 2.

Protection in all corners with WK1 - Resistance Class 1 **) In the tested Resistance Class 1 (WK1), the window is protected in all four corners by special fitting elements as well as an anti-boring protection on the mechanism. Furthermore it is fitted with a lockable handle and 6mm glass (thicker glass is also possible). The window is fitted with dowels or screws.
Security advantages: [ ] Resistance to force of pressure of up to 3.000 Newton (approx. 300Kg) [ ] Further testing with sand bag, which falls from 800mm onto the window. This does not allow entrance through the opening ( In accordance with DIN V ENV 1627ff). |

Safety without compromise with WK2 - Resistance Class 2 **) Internorm windows with resistance class 2 are fitted all round with special fitting elements and a lockable handle. Additional protection is offered by the anti-break-in pane in the Class P4A (in accordance with EN 356). The window is fitted with dowels or screws.
Additional Security advantages: [ ] In addition to the pressure-and-shock load, the window can also not be opened by manual attack (such as with wedges, pipe wrenches or screwdrivers) (in accordance with DIN V ENV 1627ff). |
